6-Port Tube Feeder 914789/914790

• SIX PERCHES, NO WAITING: Six feeding ports sit on three staggered levels around the tube, each with its own perch, so goldfinches, house finches, chickadees and titmice can settle in side by side instead of taking turns
• METAL WHERE THE WEATHER HITS: The lid, base and ports are rust-resistant aluminum in a warm brushed copper finish, light enough to lift down with one hand and sturdy enough to stay out in the yard all year
• CHECK THE SEED FROM THE KITCHEN WINDOW: The sturdy, thick-walled clear tube shows the seed level at a glance and holds its shape through the seasons, while a raised cone in the base slides seed toward the bottom ports so the last of it gets eaten
• LIFT, POUR, HANG IT BACK UP: The lid slides up the wire hanger and stays with the feeder while you fill, so there is no loose cap to set down in the grass, and it slides back down into place when you let go
• PORCH HOOK, BRANCH OR DECK BRACKET: About 16.5 inches tall and slim through the middle, it fits under an eave or beside other feeders on a shepherd's hook. The wire hanger is included; fill it with black oil sunflower, a songbird mix or most other seeds

A clear tube, six perches and metal where the weather hits.

This Backyard Expressions tube feeder keeps a good supply of seed behind a thick, sturdy clear wall, so you can tell from the house when it is time to top it off. Six feeding ports are staggered on three levels, each with its own perch, giving goldfinches, house finches, chickadees, titmice and nuthatches room to feed at the same time.

The lid, base and ports are aluminum with a brushed copper finish, which keeps the feeder light to lift down and hang back up. Inside the base, a raised cone guides seed toward the bottom ports, so less of it sits unused at the bottom of the tube.

Filling takes a moment: slide the lid up the hanger, pour, and let it settle back into place. It takes most seeds that fit the ports, from black oil sunflower and sunflower chips to songbird mixes.

At about 16.5 inches tall and slim through the middle, it hangs from a shepherd's hook next to other feeders, under an eave or from a sturdy branch. The wire hanger is included; the hook and seed are not. It makes an easy gift for anyone who likes to watch the yard from a favorite window.
