The seat runs about 51 inches long and 43 inches across and forms a deep, cradling pocket, with room to sit cross-legged with a book or lean back and let your feet hang over the edge. It comes without cushions; tuck in a throw pillow if you would like more support behind your back.

Hanging it takes a few minutes. Wrap the included strap around a porch beam, a sturdy tree branch or the top of a hammock chair stand (sold separately), clip on the S-hook, then adjust the strap until the seat sits at a comfortable height. Indoors, hang it from a hook rated for the load and anchored into a ceiling joist. The chair is rated for up to 300 pounds.
